Duty Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing petty cash, bank statements, and tax documents, ensuring proper filing, recordkeeping, and assisting with audits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Control HO petty cash & collecting proper documentation

• Collecting bank statement & bank advice properly

• PT back up will be uploaded to Drive and  will make weekly backups of PT records.

• Completion of all documentation sequence & properly filing.                                                

• Uploading and tracking all relevant documents to DRIVE                                                         

• Bank Reconciliation on monthly basis                                                

• Collecting ERCA tax receipt monthly                                                   

• Arranging monthly tax documents                                                      

• Collection of bank statements from banks every Saturday                                                       

• Assist External Auditors & Tax Auditors in Audit process.

Job Requirements

• MA or BA Degree in Accounting and Finance

• 3 up to 5 years of work experience in the same profession

• Experience in Real Estate or construction sector is preferable.

Knowledge Requirements:

• Proficiency in Peachtree software, at least two years experience, Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and other accounting software knowledge is an addition

• Ethiopian Tax Regulation Knowledge

•  Having Verbal and Written Communication Skills,

• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.

•  Ability to work with little to no supervision.

•  Having strategical views on the subjects.
