BAN-DRCE a leading innovative development and research firm is looking for a self-motivated intern and junior consultant with a passion for research, consultancy and development. The intern and junior consultant will closely and actively work with different teams and support the execution of project as per the plan.  

Duties and Responsibilites

• Participate in the research proposal development

• Produce database of projects, field research team and consultants

• Gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations

• Produce bio-summary and CV of consultants

• Running business analysis on departments, problems, risks or projects within the business

• Assist in the development of research plans,

• Take part in the design data collection instruments such as surveys, interviews, and focus group discussion checklists, etc

• Participate in various learning workshops, trainings, and meetings

• Participate in project management, survey and field visit

• Follow-up clients to ensure client satisfaction

• Technical assistance to client and stakeholders as required

• Work with the admin and marketing team 

• Present and reach out to client about BAN-DRCE and its partners

• Liaison with consultants and client on project management, research undertakings 

• Progress follow-up on submitted proposals

• Training course development

• Project management

• Assist project team in different project implementation process

• Undertake other duties as may be assigned by the core team 

Reports to: Line Manager

Duration of Role: Subject to negotiation and agreement with possibility of securing associate position based on performance in short period

Total Number: five (5) to seven (7)

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of Masters decree or second year master student  in Economics, Development studies, Agricultural Economics, Public Health and Statistics

• Zero years of work experience

• Willingness  to serve for the whole Internship program

• Good Communication and English Writing skill- must have skill

• Essential – experienced in using PowerPoint or Excel, ability to deliver concise presentations on complex topics

• Participates in the documentation and dissemination of lessons learned;

• Good interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical, problem solving and networking skills.

• Be a team player and communicator
