Junior Officers work closely together with managers in the operations processes, namely purchasing, manufacturing, and distribution processes. They help with administrative and pragmatic follow up of actions such as invoicing, drafting and preparation of contracts and purchasing orders, reconciliation of inventory against documents, and communication with distribution channels.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and/or provides guidance in the preparation of Transport contracts, agreements, amendments and change orders.

• Assist in pre-bid meetings.

• Assist in negotiating and executing transport contracts.

• Verification that all contractual clauses are included in documents (as are appropriate).

• Manage vendor/supplier performance in relation to contractual agreements.

• Ensure compliance to terms and conditions of transport contract admins.

• Manage transport contract admin closeout procedures.

• Track Transport payments to vendors as per contract.

• Assist Road Transport Department Manager in debriefings, resolving disputes, claims, litigation and settlements.

• Research and develop vendors and suppliers with priority given to suppliers and vendors. Or

• Coordinating Branch operations of the company

Educational qualification

• BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related

Special Skill

• Computer skill is mandatory
