Ethiopian Construction Design and Supervision Works Corporation (ECDSWCo.) is transforming and diversifying from the current consultancy business operations. EEC-Construction business unit key activities are high-end complex construction projects, predominately high-rise commercial and residential buildings, real-estate; infrastructure (roads, railways and airports) & water and energy sector construction. EEC-Construction alone would grow into a conglomerate of several business units including Piling, underground and foundation Works, Fit-Out, Energy (Solar Solutions), Electro- Mechanical Solution, Facility Management, Landscape and Construction Materials Production.

Scope of the role:
Responsible for managing parts of the constructed project, providing structural plans, technical advice on designs and oversees the construction of Bridge, Road and other structures, ensuring their safety and durability. They use computer-aided design software, analyze loads and pressures, collaborate with contractors, and monitor on-site construction
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Design structures, such as bridges
· Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
· Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
· Follow construction safety guidelines
· Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
· Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise.
· Track and report on project progress
· Collaborate with contractors and project managers
· Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
· Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.
· Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
· Obtain planning and construction regulations approval.
· Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
· Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.
· Administer contracts and manage projects.
. Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations
. Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes
Job Requirements
Qualification and Requirements:
. B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/COTM
. Work Experience – Previous experience as a Structural Engineer 3 years and above specializing in Road and Bridge construction projects with extensive practical experience
