We are seeking a dedicated Project Officer to join our team in Finote Selam, focusing on youth development and empowerment projects in the Amhara region. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating field activities, monitoring performance, and training field staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the implementation of youth empowerment projects in the Amhara region.

• Work closely with field staff to ensure the effective execution of project activities.

• Monitor project performance and impact, providing regular reports to project management.

• Identify training needs and develop capacity-building initiatives for field staff.

• Liaise with local stakeholders and community members to facilitate project implementation.

• Contribute to the development of income-generating activities for youth in agriculture.

Location: Finote Selam | Amhara Region

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, or related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the agricultural sector.

• Experience working with youth in agriculture and developing income-generating activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.

• Proficiency in English and Amharic; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.

• Demonstrated commitment to community development and empowerment initiatives.
