Ethiopian Construction Design and Supervision Works Corporation (ECDSWCo.) is transforming and diversifying from the current consultancy business operations. EEC-Construction business unit key activities are high-end complex construction projects, predominately high-rise commercial and residential buildings, real-estate; infrastructure (roads, railways and airports) & water and energy sector construction. EEC-Construction alone would grow into a conglomerate of several business units including Piling, underground and foundation Works, Fit-Out, Energy (Solar Solutions), Electro- Mechanical Solution, Facility Management, Landscape and Construction Materials Production.

Position Overview/Scope of role:

This role is responsible for leading structural and finishing work. Their primary role is to ensure planning.

Top Roles and Responsibilities:

·   Manage a crew of 50-60 skilled and unskilled labor

·   Read and interpret drawings, blueprints

·   Follow the order of the site engineer

·   Ensure the quality of the work

·   Follow the safety precaution before every activity

·   Arrange and coordinate safety meetings;

·   Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members;

.   Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and EEIG safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor;

·   Controlling inventory on truck, job-site, and in/out of stock (for active jobs)

.   Organize and maintain material lists for the crew;

·   Gathering required material;

·    Responsible for maintaining company tools;

·    Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean

Job Requirements

. 8 years and above experience in known construction company (5 Years in Forman position)

. Must read Designs

. Must have a good Communication skill

. Able to work extended hours, night shifts and weekends

. Should be able to travel anywhere in Ethiopia
