Job Description

We are seeking young and dynamic architects/engineers with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team as Apartment Handover Assistant. This role involves assisting in the client orientation visits, recording of client snags, and post-snag works to ensure the smooth handover of apartment units to our valued clients. This position involves coordination, documentation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to facilitate a smooth handover process from construction to operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate Customer Orientation Dates:

   - Schedule client orientation visits by liaising with respective customers to book suitable dates and times.

   - Communicate effectively with customers to confirm appointments and provide necessary information regarding the orientation process.

   - Ensure availability of necessary resources, documentation, and personnel for each scheduled orientation visit.

2. Conduct Client Orientation Visits:

   - Guide clients through their apartment units, showcasing amenities and features.

   - Provide detailed explanations of the unit designs, highlighting key aspects and functionalities.

   - Address any questions or concerns raised by clients during the orientation process.

3. Document Snags and Comments:

   - Document snag points and client comments meticulously using text and photos during the orientation visits.

   - Ensure all identified snags and comments are accurately recorded in our Resco system for further action and resolution.

4. Compile Snags and Comments:

   - Compile all recorded snags and comments for each apartment unit, organizing them systematically for easy reference and follow-up.

   - Collaborate with the snagging team to prioritize and address the compiled snags and comments efficiently.

5. Ensure Snag Resolution:

   - Monitor the progress of snag resolution activities to ensure that all identified issues are promptly addressed.

   - Verify that all snags and comments reported by clients are satisfactorily resolved before the handover process.

6. Record De snag Fixes:

   - Document the fixes for each snag identified by clients, including text descriptions and accompanying photos, on the Resco system.

   - Maintain accurate records of all completed snag fixes to track the resolution process effectively.

7. Flexibility and Task Management:

   - Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in managing tasks as required, including assisting with additional responsibilities to support the snagging process.

   - Prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth progress of the client snag process.

These responsibilities are essential for ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience for our clients during the handover of their apartment units. Your attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to work flexibly will be key to your success in this role.

   - Attention to detail to accurately document snag points and client comments during orientation visits.

   - Precision in recording snag fixes and comments in the Resco system to ensure completeness and accuracy.

3. Technical Aptitude:

   - Proficiency in using digital tools and technology, including smartphones or tablets, to capture photos and input data into the Resco system.

   - Familiarity with basic troubleshooting procedures for digital devices to address any technical issues that may arise during orientation visits.

4. Organizational Skills:

   - Strong organizational skills to compile and organize snag points and comments for each apartment unit systematically.

   - Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines.

5. Flexibility and Adaptability:

   - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work demands, including assisting with additional tasks as required to support the snagging process.

   - Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client orientation visits and snag resolution activities as needed.

6. Teamwork and Collaboration

   - Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the snagging team and other internal stakeholders.

   - Willingness to work collaboratively to share information, coordinate activities, and ensure smooth communication throughout the snagging process.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil engineering is essential.

2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in architecture, engineering, or related fields.

3. Proficiency in comprehending and interpreting design drawings across various disciplines with precision and clarity.

4. Proficiency in using drawing tools and software for documentation purposes.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

7. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

8. Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.

9. Availability to work on a temporary basis from June to September 2024.

Additional Information:

- Familiarity with the Resco system is considered an asset.
