Job Description

OLA Energy Ethiopia Limited is a Company engaged in the distribution of Oil and Gas Products in Ethiopia. We would like to recruit an Administrative Assistant, who can join our diverse and talented team. We offer an environment where development, challenge, and recognition are encouraged. Here is what we are looking for.

Major Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Provision of an efficient Secretarial and Administrative service to the Department with a high degree of confidentiality.

  • Prepare and manage correspondences with internal and external parties.

  • Handles stationery store of the Department and maintain adequate office stationeries and issues as and when required,

  •   Giving service with acceptable office ethics/manners/communication styles with high quality. 

  •   Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply and product stocks database.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date Safety Health & Environment records.

  • Takes custody and controls movement of files, manuals, and references of the Department.

  • Exercise and maintain sound and effective working relationship with transport Contractors, employees, and other business contacts.

  • Support Supplies to receive, update and keep daily product stocks database from all Depots & A/F and report the same to EPE.

Competencies/Skills needed

  • Good communication and customer contact skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and set strict priorities.

  • High degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team.

  • Self-motivated and energetic

  • Adequate Knowledge in the use of computers and application Ms-Word and Ms- Excel, MS-power point, Amharic typing

  • Knowledge of other international languages is advantageous.

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Degree in Secretarial Science, Management, or other related disciplines from a recognized university.

  • At least 4 years work experience as Administrative Assistant and related area

Language Requirements (Essential): 

  • Essential:  Having very good communication skills, both in writing and speaking in English and Amharic languages
