Overview
The Executive Assistant position is an important part of the Executive Office and is responsible for management of the office in a professional manner that meets the high level of professionalism required by the Executives. This position acts as a conduit as well between various international offices and the Executive team and provides comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, CFO, and Business Development Executive of our Addis Ababa office. The role includes managing travel bookings, stakeholder engagements, meeting arrangements, diary management, general administrative duties, special projects, and limited marketing responsibilities. The company business spans across different time zones, the flexibility of time is an essential requirement for this position from time-to-time
Administrative Support
Manage the diaries of the CEO, CFO, and Business Development Executive, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization of
Schedule and arrange meetings with a wide variety of stakeholders, ensuring all logistics are managed
Perform general administrative duties for the executive offices, including filing, correspondence, and document
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a liaison between the executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective
Engage with stakeholders to arrange meetings, conferences, and
Maintain an updated contact database for all key
Marketing and Communications
Assist with light marketing duties, including drafting general communications from the executive office, which includes general public relations as well as management of internal communications from executive
Provide support for regional offices during conferences and
Project Support
Assist in the management and execution of special projects driven by the executive officers, some of these are telecoms and travel related and therefore experience in these fields are
Provide regular feedback and updates on the progress of various project
Ensure effective time management and organization of project-related tasks.
Digital and Social Media Support
Support online social media engagement and
Ensure consistent and fluid communication with seafarers globally and within Ethiopia
Education:Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related
Experience:
Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative
Previous marketing experience, especially in PR and digital
Experience in the telecoms industry is an
Skills:
Excellent communication skills in English and
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management
Strong organizational and time management
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Digital knowledge, especially in social media
Attributes:

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all
