Job Description
ZamZam Bank S.C is the first bank licensed to operate as full-fledged Interest Free Bank in the country shouldering a huge responsibility for enhancing financial inclusion in Ethiopia.
The bank is established to enhance financial inclusion with a special focus on the part of society that is alienated from the financial system due to their religious beliefs or other factors. At the time of its formation, ZamZam Bank managed to mobilize a subscribed capital of Birr 1.683 billion and a paid-up capital of Birr 872 million from 11,200 shareholders.
Currently, the bank is progressing ahead with its effort to expand its branch network in the capital city and other parts of the country simultaneously by implementing digital solutions that have a far-reaching impact on its cherished customers.
To this effect the Bank would like to recruit qualified job applicants for the following vacant posts and invite interested applicants who fulfill the minimum qualification and work experience listed for the job openings.
Customer Desk Officers deal most frequently with customers of the bank. They promote the banks products and services, and provide information about the customers personal accounts and related transfers, deposits, savings etc. They order bank cards and checks for the customers, receive and balance cash and checks and ensure compliance with internal policies. They work on client accounts, deal with payments and manage the use of vaults and safe deposit boxes.
Minimum qualification and work experience:
BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields with 4 years of banking experience respectively of which 2 years as Junior Officer in Customer Service area.
