Naflet hotel is a top notch world class hotel located in Adama. Naflet Hotel has opened its door and has been serving its guests since October 2022. Job summary:

The Shuttle Driver transports people in a high roof minibus between place of works. His/her job is not restricted to a particular route and involves: helping passengers with luggage, answering to passenger questions, communicating with the simple and clear language, solving minor faults, and obeying traffic rules. The purpose of his/her role is to drive passenger shuttles for our tour and travel trips safely, enthusiastically, and professionally. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gaining familiarity with and utilizing our reservations, scheduling and payroll systems 

• Completing thorough inspections of assigned vehicle(s) 

• Filling out a driver log for each shuttle and filing as directed 

• Following gas card protocols as directed Being familiar with and responsible for take-out drink and travel lunch procedures 

• Managing the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle(s) 

• Displaying safety conscious practices on and off the road 

• Working outdoors in all types of weather conditions for extended periods of time 

• Making a full commitment to the job 

• Being on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts 

• Being able to adapt to changes in daily logistics 

• Possessing efficient time management 

• The ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner 

• Possessing the desire and ability to interact with guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner

• Maintaining a good attitude and keeping morale high throughout the season 

• Being receptive to constructive criticism about job performance 

• Helping with janitorial, grounds, camp work and additional duties as needed 

• Practicing environmentally sound processes

• Ability of safe driving skills, attention to details, customer service, multitasking

Salary: As per the hotel scale and attractive

Reporting to: General Manager/or Room division manager

Job Requirement

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

• 20+ years of age is desirable

• Valid I-5 documentation verifying the ability to work legally in the industry 

• Current/renewed commercial drivers license with passenger endorsement 

• Physical fitness at a level required to safely accomplish job responsibilities 

• Good health status 

• Previous experience in the customer service industry
