Nib Candy Factory Plc. Background: - Nib Candy Factory PLC is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced quality control manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, a strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The company is looking for a qualified Quality Control Manager with the following qualifications. 

Some of the Primary Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited 

1. Engage in inspections to minimize defects;

2. Continuously follow up the whole manufacturing process to check its quality  

3. Audit and inspect subcontractor facilities including external laboratories.

4. Instruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures.

5. Confer with sales departments to define client requirements and expectations. 

6. Direct product testing activities throughout production cycles.

7. Review statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of quality control.

8.  Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment such as inspection gauges. 

9. Verify that raw materials, purchased parts or components, in-process samples, and finished products meet established testing and inspection standards.

10. Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends.

11.  Instruct vendors or contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or ways to eliminate deficiencies.

12.  Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.

13. Review and update standard operating procedures or quality assurance manuals.

14. Direct the tracking of defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data.

15.  Monitor development of new products to help identify possible problems for mass production

Job Requirement

Qualification:

• Knowledge of the Production process, quality standards, and product testing;

• Degree and / or Professional qualification BSc Degree in Food Process Engineering, Food Science and Post Harvest Technology, Food Science and Food Nutrition  

Work Experience 

• Minimum 5 years as manager of quality control and 6 years as quality control officer in food factory 

• ISOO 22000- 2018 Training and certified on its application

• Fluent in Amharic, Oromiffa and English language speaking listening and writing
