A Senior Finance is responsible for company financial procedures, records and statements for compliance with laws and regulations and coordinate direct all financial accounting activities, the analysis of ledger balances and the preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up and ensure that entries for adjustments, closing of accounts, posting and reconciliation of ledgers, aging of accounts, accruals and corrections are timely prepared;

• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

• Review financial statements, transaction records, and accounting practices to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

• Ensure that accounting policies and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to by subordinates.

• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

• Assist finance manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings & other accounting projects.

• Ensure that periodic reconciliation of bank accounts are undertaken and schedule of accounts prepared.

• Arrange for and submit accounting records for audit.

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports & financial statements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or Masters in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

• At least minimum of [7] years of experience in senior finance or a related field.

Core Competencies

• · Strong Mathematical and Analytical skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Languages

• Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages
