In Ethiopia, Agriterra has been active since 2015, providing support to cooperatives in the dairy, coffee, cereal, and horticulture value chains across multiple regions of the country. Currently, Agriterra is seeking a Cleaner responsible for preparing tea and coffee for staff and office guests, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in office areas, and organizing office supplies.

Job Description

Key roles and responsibilities

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling toilets, vents etc).

• Maintenance: Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

• Stock and maintain supply rooms.

• Refreshments: support the team in preparing office refreshments and ensure the kitchen area is kept clean and stocked.

• Cooperate with the rest of the staff. Follow all health and safety regulations.

• Any other tasks: Fulfill any other related duties as may be required and do other relevant activities requested by your supervisor

Job Requirement

Qualification:

• Grade 10 complete or above level Certificate or equivalent is required

• Proven work experience as a cleaner, preferable in an international organisation

• Ability to handle heavy equipment

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets

• Fluent in relevant local language, English would be an asset
