Job Description
Senior IT Security Officers propose and implement necessary security updates and measures whenever is required. They advise, support, inform and provide training and security awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to safeguard the bank’s systems, networks, and data.
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate threats.
• Perform incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Implement and manage security controls to protect sensitive data, systems, and networks.
• Stay current on evolving security threats and vulnerabilities, implementing necessary updates and security patches.
• Collaborate with IT operations, business units, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
• Provide security awareness training and education to employees.
Job Requirements
Qualification
· MSC, MA, BSc, BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, Information Technology or related fields of study
Experience
. · Five (5) years of Proven experience in security risk management, security incident response, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and security architecture design.
