TEAM PURPOSE:
To provide a professional, business-focused organizational development and Finance management service, delivering a proactive solutions-based approach for resolving issues and ensuring that staff are effectively managed and developed to deliver organizational results,
which are focused on developing capacity.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Finance Intern will be assigned to manage different junior Finance-related activities including the overall responsibility of assisting a smooth implementation of day-to-day accounting transactions and ensuring the implementation of donors' rules and regulations and Oxfam finance policies & procedures, and other responsibilities as required under the supervision of the Finance Coordinator. Based on the need, to contribute to the organization’s mission while at the same time focusing on meeting their developmental needs and providing an opportunity to explore careers and develop and learn skills on the job.
The Finance Intern will be delivering:
• Finance records and filling system
• Maintain proper archiving of financial payment data.
• Track the pending payments
• Follow-up signature- of authorized signatories
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the HR filing system by keeping all HR records, information, and files clearly labeled, organized
chronologically, and kept confidential.
• Assists in ordering and filing new employees’ contract agreements.
Follow-up and updating
Monthly tracking of scanned files and tracking of in and out of documents from archiving • Assist disposal of outdated financial documents

SKILS, Experience, Knowledge & Competencies:
Degree from a recognized University or College in Finance and Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or any other social studies areas that can bring added value to the post.
Fresh graduates with no experience

• Fluent language skills (in English and Amharic both speaking & writing.)
