The Opportunity

The post holder, will coordinate EHF project in Guba Koricha-West harrarge Zone of Oromia Regional state and ensure that projects are implemented in target locations as per the agreement entered with government stakeholders and signatory offices. He/she will be providing hands-on guidance, support, mentoring and coaching to frontline staff including Coordinators Officers, and Social Workers etc to ensure smooth and quality implementation of the project.

  • Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

  • Ensures that all staff signed safeguarding policies;

  • Implement Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work.

 Job Requirements

  • Education: Degree level or equivalent vocational study in fields such as Management, Rural Development and other related fields.

  • At least 7+ Years of relevant experience out of which 3 years on a senior level experience (not necessarily gained in an NGO or INGO) or demonstrated equivalent combination.

  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives.

  • Experience creating yearly training plans and materials

  • Experience in budget management and monitoring
