Job Position: District Manager
Purpose of the Job: To ensure profitable business across branches under the domain of district office through providing responsive leadership in light of corporate strategic orientation; lead and coordinate branches’ resource mobilization effort and enhance customer service under its span; plan, support, follow up and monitor overall performance of districts office and branches under the former.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generic Functions:
Develop, review and implement strategies, policies & procedures, plan /budget of the District, and ensure their proper implementation
Embody the bank’s good culture, corporate image and cultivate positive working environment
Monitor that subordinates under the district are providing services as per the service level agreement
Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct, ascertain that subordinates abide by same and manage disciplinary concerns
Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set
Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary
Specific Functions:
Participate in the development of the District business plans and be accountable for achieving annual growth targets as cascaded from the Regional Vice President
Ensure Banking accessibility and enhance full-fledged branch expansion in all resource potential areas across the district domain
Plan, coordinate, drive, and monitor the resource mobilization activities of branches under its domain
Properly manage all business line operations embedded at districts/branches including customer relationship management, credit analysis of both IFB & conventional banking; digital banking customer development and operations; material resource distribution & management
Handle other related activities as deemed necessary
Job Requirement:
Qualification: MBA/MA/BA in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or any other related field
Experience: Eight/Ten (8/10) years of relevant experience, of which three (3) years in managerial position
Additional Skills: Proficiency in communicating the local languages
