Job Description
Reports directly to the Deputy Manager
Responsibilities will include:
Building sustainability strategy of the company in collaboration with the General Manager and Deputy Manager.
Oversees the overall execution, mission, and efficiency of the sustainability program and implements improvements as necessary.
Prepares annual sustainability report for general manager providing clear details on cost and effectiveness of the Ephtah sustainability programs.
Gathering and maintaining a database of information and photos for clients.
Respond to clients’ requests regarding sustainability matters such as traceability and transparency information.
Build the relationship and partnership between important stakeholders and Ephtah.
Acting as the main spokesperson for Ephtah at events for sustainability related topics.
Help the other team around the office by bringing new idea and creating strategies which may facilitate the work easily.
Patience: Can tolerate unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and ambiguous situations.
Willingness to travel outside of Addis Ababa to visit the coffee regions.
Initiative– must be willing and able to work independently, flexibly, and responsively.
Must be committed to the success to Ephtah coffee and willing to work within the existing framework.
Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to coordinate and influence a wide range of cross sector partners and stakeholders.
