Job Summary

As a Tax Manager in the manufacturing industry, you’ll be crucial in managing tax planning and compliance across different business units and countries. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate reporting of tax liabilities and maintaining compliance with tax regulations.

Job description

·         Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.

·         Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations across various business units and geographical locations.

·         Manage tax audits and coordinate responses with relevant stakeholders.

·         Review and analyze financial data to report tax liabilities accurately.

·         Identify and mitigate tax risks by developing and implementing internal controls.

·         Continuously improve tax processes by implementing best practices.

·         Stay updated on industry trends and apply new methods to improve tax operations.

·         Oversee the preparation and filing of accurate tax returns and other required documentation.

·         Supervise and guide tax team members, providing training and development opportunities.

·         Monitor and manage compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax regulations

·         Ensure timely and accurate reporting of tax liabilities and tax expense.

·         Identify and mitigate tax risks by developing and implementing internal controls.

·         Advise senior management on potential tax risks and strategies to mitigate them.

·         Supervise and guide tax team members.

Job Requirement

Academic qualification

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or master’s degree in taxation.

Experience: 5+ years of proven work experience as a Tax Manager.
