Job Description
Background of the company
Kerchanshe Group is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, and engage in manufacturing, agro-processing and export business. It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.
Job Purpose:
To plan, organize, and direct all resource allocation and management activities, determines an organization’s demand for resources (Construction Machinery/ equipment, Vehicles, crane etc) and ensures its capacity to meet needs of projects.
Sets deadlines in ways that comply with department’s plans and communicate them to subordinates,
Organizes workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks,
Monitors employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching,
Prepare and execute a resource (Construction Machinery, Vehicles, Crane etc) capacity plan and resource schedules,
Allocate resources to projects, including assigning the appropriate personnel to machineries within a project,
Forecast the need for new resources for upcoming projects, making sure that a company’s resources have capacity to work on upcoming projects,
Track resources and make needed adjustments to meet the project's needs (project design, unexpected weather, and unforeseen obstacles such as equipment failure and material shortages),
Lead construction resource management operation,
Always ensure that construction projects have the appropriate personnel, equipment, materials, and other resources needed to complete a project on time and within budget,
Monitor day-to-day project activities and corresponding resourcing,
Monitor and manage machinery workload, utilization, and overtime hours,
Manage resource conflicts, set priorities,
Design centralized construction resource management system to overcoming resource shortages,
Document all vehicle, equipment, and tool repairs, and maintain accurate inventory asset lists,
Ensures equipment is insured and registered aper the state, and federal regulations,
Ensures company preventive maintenance programs are in place for all equipment.
Tracks all resources and manages these out of the company through the end-of-life cycle, perform physical count asper the audit policy,
Provide transportation of equipment, tools, and materials to and from remote job sites and corporate yards.
Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualification and Skills
Diploma in Automotive Technology or BSc in Mechanical Engineer and Related fields
Experience:
8 years for Diploma
6 years for BSc
Skills:
Planning skill
Conflict Management skills
Communication skills,
