Position Overview/Scope of role:

Responsible for all plants maintenance, Erection/dismantling, mobilization/demobilization, commissioning. Production and follow-up the production will be both for internal and external customers meeting the standard quality and quantity, safety, environment, performance, human resources, plant’s image and community relations. Duties will include accomplishing overall departmental goals, daily issues that arise within department and projects while maintaining appropriate information relating to sourcing and fleet equipment. 

Top Roles and Responsibilities:

·      Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, assembly, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment at construction sites. Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

·      Maintenance and Repair: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for plant machinery and equipment. Conduct regular inspections, diagnose faults, and coordinate repairs and replacements as necessary. Optimize maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

·      Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and site personnel regarding mechanical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot complex issues, analyze failures, and propose effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.

·      Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies. Identify potential safety hazards and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Conduct safety audits and promote a culture of safety among the team.

·      Documentation and Reporting: Prepare engineering reports, equipment specifications, and technical documentation. Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and modifications. Generate progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and technical expertise.

Job Requirement

·      Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

·      5 years of experience in various type of plants in International / Local company.

·      Strong Communication skills

·      Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

. Experience on installation, production controlling and maintenance of various type (crusher, Batching and HCB) plants like Mixer, calibration system, Jaw, Cone, Vertical mill, Impact, Road mill crushers and Concrete bathing plants in international and local companies.
