Job Summary:
The senior marketing manager (SMM), has the responsibility of developing and executing a marketing operations strategy that aligns with the marketing and business objectives of the company. The SMM must also set up and maintain the marketing technology stack, including selecting, integrating, and optimizing software and platforms to support marketing activities. Additionally, must design and improve marketing processes and workflows, such as campaign management, lead generation, lead nurturing, lead scoring, lead routing, and reporting. It is also important to ensure the accuracy and consistency of marketing data and analytics while providing insights to improve marketing performance and return on investment (ROI). also manage the marketing budget and resources while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The SMM should train and coach the marketing operations team on best practices and standards of marketing operations, as well as evaluate new trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the marketing operations capabilities.
Position: Senior Marketing Manager
Strategic Planning/ development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with clients' business goals and objectives.
Market Insight: Stay ahead of market trends and advancements in marketing technology, particularly AI;
Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, PPC, and content marketing.
Client Relations/ Partnership Building: : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs and market dynamics. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with media outlets, social platforms, associations, and government bodies;
Onboarding: Guide clients through the onboarding process, providing clear communication and support to address any questions or concerns.
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including creative, digital, and sales, to ensure the seamless execution of marketing initiatives and client onboarding.
Performance Tracking/ Performance Management: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to clients. Use a data-driven approach to monitor and refine campaigns, ensuring KPIs for lead generation, visitor numbers, and visitor quality are met
Paid Media Management: Implement and manage paid social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and creative approvals.
Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize marketing processes and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Client Growth: Identify and facilitate opportunities for clients to expand their use of our products and services, positioning us as a trusted partner.
Metrics Maintenance: Maintain and report on customer success metrics as directed.
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the marketing team, manage resources effectively, and oversee the marketing budget
Brand Management: Define and uphold corporate branding and messaging standards, ensuring consistency
Creative Oversight: Implement an approval process for all marketing materials to ensure high quality and coherence
Reporting: Provide regular updates on campaign performance and budget status to management, ensuring transparency and accountability
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
Experience:
5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand marketing and DTC strategies.
Knowledge and skills:
Proven track record of developing and executing strategic brand campaigns and DTC initiatives.
Deep expertise in building integrated marketing campaigns, PR, and social media management.
Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
Strategic thinker with a passion for building and evolving brands.
Leadership experience and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment working with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of market research practices and techniques
Knowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of marketing strategies
Experience analyzing data
Proficient computer skills
Budget and cost analysis experience
Knowledge of social media platforms
Project management experience
Strategic, analytical and detailed-oriented with proven project management skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Experience running large scope projects with cross-over departments and large teams
The ability to align copy and graphics to drive engagement and achieve client key performance indicators
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to getting the job done on-time and within budget
