Green Scene Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee solar projects across all phases, from design to installation, aligning with industry standards. This role involves identifying diverse opportunities for solar projects, including small home use, commercial, and industrial applications.
Job Description:
The main responsibilities of a "Senior Electrical Engineer" overseeing solar projects include
Analyzing existing electrical systems
Designing testing methods
Overseeing equipment inspections
Training new staff
Preparing specifications for protection devices
Supervising junior engineers
Developing end-to-end project plans and leading project teams
Collaborating with stakeholders and internal teams for successful project delivery
Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources
Monitoring project progress, quality, and performance, maintaining detailed project documentation and reports
Job Requirement
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in electrical engineering project management positions and solar energy projects
Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and safety standards; proficiency in English and Amharic is required, and additional local language proficiency preferred
