Job Description
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the manager the social work is responsible for recording parents or caregivers’ assessment and counseling report; responsible for planning, reporting, social, psychological and emotional wellbeing of CWDs; identification; selection and follow-up of mothers and caregivers for socio- economic support and maintains up to date information in the data system.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Gives counseling program for families of CWDs.
Involves actively in assessing socioeconomic status of mothers and caregivers.
Involves actively in the assessment; evaluation of children rehabilitation, appliance measurement, fitting and discharge of children from the center.
Involves once a week in MDT for assessment of new clients and develop socioeconomic status of the parents.
Identifies mothers and caregivers of CWDs for economic support.
Selects parents and caregivers who are e legible for business training.
Follows up Parents and caregivers in self-support business activities and develop monthly; quarterly and annual report.
Develops successful case stories of parents or caregivers.
Respects CE employees, rules and regulation and also observes professional ethics.
Performs any related jobs assigned by immediate supervisor.
Salary: 9939
Medical allowance per year: 15,000
Transportation allowance per month: 500
Work Unit: Addis Pediatric Rehabilitation Center (APRC)
Immediate Supervisor: Center Manager
Educational Qualification
BA in social work, or sociology
Experience
2 year as a social worker
