Job Description

Marketing Officers support all the efforts and operations carried out by marketing managers. They prepare reports in relation to the marketing operations needed by other departments, especially account and financial divisions. They ensure that resources needed by the managers to perform their job are in place.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Content Development:

  • Assist in creating copy and visual content for various marketing and communication channels including social media, flyers, brochures, banners, billboards, magazines, and client communications.

  • Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand and marketing goals.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.

  • Monitor trends and gather insights to enhance content strategies.

  • Review and edit content to maintain quality and consistency.

2. Platform Management:

  • Manage social media posting schedules and ensure content is correctly uploaded.

  • Coordinate with printing vendors for the timely delivery of flyers and brochures.

  • Maintain and update the content calendar for all marketing platforms.

  • Track and report on social media metrics and engagement.

  • Ensure all digital assets are optimized for various platforms.

3. Execution of Marketing Activities:

  • Ensure banners and billboards are installed on schedule.

  • Distribute flyers and business cards to the sales team.

  • Place marketing collaterals correctly during events and expos.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events.

  • Coordinate logistics for marketing materials and event setups.

  • Support the execution of promotional campaigns and contests.

4. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure smooth execution of marketing strategies.

  • Coordinate with other departments (such as sales) to support marketing efforts.

  • Liaise with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing activities.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

  • Foster relationships with media partners and influencers.

5. Reporting:

  • Provide regular updates on marketing activities and their performance.

  • Assist in analyzing the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

  1. BA degree in Marketing, Project management or related fields 

  2. 2+ years of experience in related field 

  3. Content marketing certification

  4. Experience in Digital marketing is a plus

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of digital and traditional marketing executions 

  • Experience in Traditional media placement (TV, Radio, Magazines, Billboards)

  • Experience in Digital media placement (social media, Listing websites)

  • Understanding of SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics)

  • Proficiency in content creation for various channels

  • Experience with social media management tools (meta business suite, Linked and website)

  • Project management capabilities

  • Experience with email marketing platforms

  • Event coordination skills

  • Basic budget management knowledge

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Creative thinking and innovation

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Problem-solving abilities
