Job Description
**Introduction:**
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support our busy Restaurant Manager at Olive and Bread. This role is important in facilitating the manager’s day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient communication with all team members including supervisors, chefs, and bar staff. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Act as the primary point of contact between the Restaurant Manager and other staff members, including communicating messages and organizing meetings.
Handle written communications in Amharic, including drafting letters, memos, and notices for staff and other stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate logistics for obtaining supplies by traveling using public transportation as needed.
Assist with scheduling and follow-up on tasks related to restaurant upgrades and maintenance.
Organize and maintain documentation and records, ensuring all paperwork is up to date and accessible.
Support the Restaurant Manager in daily administrative tasks and project management.
Coordinate and ensure that all instructions from the Restaurant Manager are relayed and adhered to by the relevant staff members.
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Amharic and English
Proven experience as a personal assistant or similar administrative role.
Ability to travel locally using public transportation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
High degree of attention to detail and discretion.
Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to respond to high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus.
