Overview 

REALITY REAL ESTATE is one of the fastest growing real estate companies in Addis Ababa which specializes in building luxury apartments, commercial and Office buildings. 

Job Summery

The human resource and general service manager is responsible to overseeing various aspects of the employment process, including recruitment, on boarding, and training of new staff members. HR and general service manager also play a crucial role in managing over all office service and ensuring a smooth running of overall office activities

Main duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process. Ensuring HR guidelines are adhered to during the process.

  • Advice, to trainings/capacity building.

  • Input payroll changes on the monthly basis

  • Managing the maintenance of annual leave and personnel record 

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

  • Ensure all contracts are up to date, compliant and filed. 

  • Provide strategic direction for the HR department. 

  • Create, manage and maintain master HR files; ensure paperwork is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements and company needs; 

  • Nurture a positive working environment and define employee relations 

  • Advise on disputes between staff. Assist/lead on any ethical investigations that might arise.

  • Ensure ethical trainings are being implemented. 

  • Advise line managers on obligations for good practice on HR procedures. 

  • Organizing and controlling performance evaluation of  employs with department and top management

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

  • Ensure payroll is compliant and accurate from the HR side.

  • Provide planning support and advice to project managers in human resource administration 

  • Effective registration and management of all equipment and maintenance

  • Ensures safe and reliable assets are available to meet operational requirements.

  • Maintain accurate daily records on equipment

  • Ensure that equipment is kept clean and is in safe working condition

  • Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity

  • Follow up the activities of general service (cleaning, security and others)

Represent the company in events, conferences etc.

 Job Requirement

  • Qualification and Experience: 

  • MA or BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related fields with a minimum of 12& 14 years work experience respectively out of which 3 years in Managerial position.

  • Competencies:

  • Proven working experience as Human resource and Administration Manager  

  • Strong leadership capabilities  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Working under pressures 

  • Strong negotiation skills and time-management.

  • Strategic thinking & understanding of Modern human resource management
