 Duty stations:        Kawo Koyisha Integrated Rural Development Project

                              (Wolayita Zone, Kawo Koyisha Woreda)

 MAIN DUTIES:

• By using various extension methods and approaches to bring knowledge, attitudes and behavioral change of the farmers.

• Design and assist in implementing innovative agricultural crops & agronomic practices.

• Provide technical support on post-harvest handling and marketing of agricultural products 

• Coordinate and run training on improved agronomic practices in collaboration with the department.

• Undertake periodic assessment and participatory evaluation of various crop varieties based on farmers’ criteria

• Produce operational plan of action and organize reports on regular basis.

Skills: 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong sense of integrity and personal commitment to the goals and values of MfM

• Good community level facilitation and coordination skill

• Excellent computer literacy, record keeping and report writing

Job Requirements

Qualification:        BSc Degree in plant Science.

Work Experience:  Minimum of 4 years work experience in the profession. 

• NGO experience is advantageous.

Terms of Employment:    Yearly renewable contract.
