Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development, management and evaluation of all marketing initiatives that are run on social media, digital media applications and AI marketing tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Research on which social media platforms to be present and aggressive.
2. Develop insights based social media marketing campaigns that are aligned with the Brand strategy and goals.
3.  Take a lead in the development of digital marketing strategies, programs, tactics and ensure their effective and efficient execution.
4.  Develops graphics, illustrations, and other creative materials for the web, social, and other digital platforms.
5.  Develop creative and engaging promotional, short-form video to promote the KBSC’s brands through different social and mainstream media  platforms and the website.
6.  Design and layout of materials for internal communications and business materials.
7.  Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data.
8.  Takes the lead on video projects from concept to delivery (storyboard, design, animation, feedback, QA, and production);
9.  Use available metrics and measurement tools to evaluate effectiveness and accumulate learning for future execution (and course correct execution plans based on real-time data, if necessary).
10. Develop a strategy to build brand awareness on targeted and impactful Mobile applications.
11. Develop desirable, user-friendly and accessible applications and develop mechanics for mass adoption by the target consumer
12.  Measure and monitor impact to improve effectiveness
13.  Seek Digital Media (social media) Entertainment Shows and establish long-term impactful partnerships

Job Requirements

Academic requirement:

  • MA/MSC/BA/BSC in Marketing Management or related Fields of study

Work experience: 

  • 6/8yrs of experience in digital marketing, advertisement, creative development in business organizations

  • Strong influencing and persuasion ability

  • Strong decision-making skills

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Computer literate in especially business applications

  • Languge; English,Amharic ,(Afan Oromo is an advantage)
