About the role
The Project Facilitator is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the Scaling innovations for reduced and redistributed (I4RR) women’s unpaid care work in smallholder livestock feed provision in rural Ethiopia Project in selected woredas of Wolaita zone. More importantly, the post holder is responsible for the empowerment of smallholder farmers particularly of women & girls in the livestock feed provisions to support the effort of reducing and redistributing their unpaid care work through the dissemination and adoption of gender responsive socio-technical innovations.

Salary: Competitive salary as per organisational pay scales
Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week
Contract type: Fixed term
Contract duration: 33 months possibly renewable in 12 months.

About you
MSc or BSc in Animal science, Animal Husbandry, Animal Breeding, Animal Production & Rangeland Management, or any animal welfare & management related fields; four years (4) for MSc and five (5) years for BSc of relevant work experience in the area of animal welfare and management particularly on equine welfare; prior training and experience on gender and social inclusion, experience of project monitoring at field level and quality report writing; Training delivery, prior experience with NGOs working in the area of agricultural extension, community development and other rural livelihood or food security related issues with smallholder farmers
