Pepsico/ Senselet Food Processing is a potato processing company in Ethiopia producing potato chips. It has been set up in accordance with European standards and knowledge and produces high quality potato crisps, branded as Sun Chips,that are sold locally in the Ethiopian market. 

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible to deliver the growth of Pepsico Ethiopia foods supply chain in the coming years with his/her team. The business is expected to grow significantly over the coming years and the candidate for the role needs to be able to adapt and re-direct course to design the right supply chain in a fast-developing country.
He/she will lead the Maintenance & reliability, Quality & food safety, EHS, Operations, Supply Planning & Logistics, General service & facility teams , delivering the required demand on time in full at the right place. Continuously improving the performance and productivity over time, by lifting the performance of the teams, which also includes the ambition of Pepsico on their sustainability program.
The role will interact with different functions on various level in Pepsico and will be part of the leadership team of Pepsico Foods Ethiopia. 

Responsibilities     

• Ensure safety for all staff and meet compliance on (internal & external) EHS standards and legislation

• Ensure QFS compliance and meet AIB audit results, as well as quality certifications

• Expansion of manufacturing, decision execution and consultation at different workstreams in the project

• Supporting on procurement localization and strategy for expansion including new raw materials setup

• Setting up the network for the expanded business, initiating country DC’s, facilitating expansion in country and East African supply locations/ customers, and investing in a new primary fleet (including agro logistics)

• Leading the 290+ associates in E2E Supply Chain,

Qualification:

Education : 

• A minimum of Bachelors’ degree in Logistics / Supply chain management / Engineering
   

Experience:

•  Minimum of 10 years experience in supply chain roles in (food) manufacturing sector, with 5+ years managerial experiences. 
  E2E Supply Chain (SP&L, Operations, QFS, Productivity (TPM), Maintenance & reliability, EHS, General service & facility)

• Language: Strong communication skills in both Amharic and English
