Warehouse Administrator
Type of Employment: Full Time
Location: Addis Ababa
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Purpose of the Position
The Warehouse Administrator oversees the warehouse operations and safeguards the inventory. S/he will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, reconciling and tidying up Dodai’s warehouse.
Maintain inventory records and request replenishment of materials in the warehouse as needed.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders.
Update the inventory system with accurate records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
Reconcile inventory between the system and the finance book.
Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels.
Ensure proper labels are placed on the warehouse items.
Implement the 5S principle in the warehouse operations.
Conduct cycle counts on a regular and timely basis.
Report any inconsistency, variance, or incident on time and follow up for the case closure.
Ensure all inventory movements are backed by either system transactions or official warehouse documents.
Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the sourcing and supply management process.
Update routine reports to support informed decision-making within the company.
Bachelor's degree in logistics, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field
0 -1 years of professional experience in store, warehouse management, and logistics
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to speak and write English fluently
Have ambition to proceed his/her career in supply chain
Proficient in Excel Microsoft Office applications.
