Warehouse Administrator

Type of Employment: Full Time

Location: Addis Ababa

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Purpose of the Position

The Warehouse Administrator oversees the warehouse operations and safeguards the inventory. S/he will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, reconciling and tidying up Dodai’s warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory records and request replenishment of materials in the warehouse as needed. 

  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times. 

  • Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders. 

  • Update the inventory system with accurate records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns. 

  • Reconcile inventory between the system and the finance book. 

  • Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels. 

  • Ensure proper labels are placed on the warehouse items.

  • Implement the 5S principle in the warehouse operations. 

  • Conduct cycle counts on a regular and timely basis. 

  • Report any inconsistency, variance, or incident on time and follow up for the case closure. 

  • Ensure all inventory movements are backed by either system transactions or official warehouse documents.

  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the sourcing and supply management process.

  •  Update routine reports to support informed decision-making within the company.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field

  • 0 -1 years of professional experience in store, warehouse management, and logistics

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 

  • Ability to speak and write English fluently

  • Have ambition to proceed his/her career in supply chain

  • Proficient in Excel  Microsoft Office applications.
