GeezJobs - Our Recruitment Department is currently on the lookout for exceptionally qualified professionals to take on the role of Junior Architect at our client's company.
Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting architectural plans and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software.
Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
Contribute to the development of design concepts and ideas.
Prepare renderings, sketches, and models to visualize design concepts.
Conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations relevant to projects.
Participate in site visits and surveys to gather information and assist in project documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors as required.
Assist in reviewing drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Architecture or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software; familiarity with other design software is a plus.
0-2 years experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
Knowledge of architectural principles, building materials, and construction techniques.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of architecture.
Portfolio or examples of academic projects or internships demonstrating design and technical skills.
