Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced International Tender Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end tendering process for international opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of global tendering processes, procurement regulations, and the ability to navigate complex international markets.
Tender Management: Lead the entire tender process for international opportunities, from identifying prospects to submission and post-submission activities.
Documentation Preparation: Prepare, review, and submit comprehensive tender documents, ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all tender submissions comply with international regulations, client specifications, and company policies.
Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with sales, procurement, finance, and technical teams to gather required information and ensure timely and accurate tender submissions.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with international tenders and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to clarify tender requirements, address queries, and ensure alignment with tender specifications.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential international tender opportunities and stay updated on global industry trends.
Bid Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective bid strategies to enhance the probability of winning international tenders.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all tender activities and provide regular updates to senior management on the status of international tenders.
Post-Tender Activities: Follow up on submitted tenders, handle negotiations, and assist in contract finalization upon successful tender awards.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position.
The role may require frequent international travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct site visits.
The position may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet international tender deadlines.

Education:

Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with e-tendering platforms and international procurement software. o Ability to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in handling large-scale international tenders in specific industries
Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management
Familiarity with international contract laws and negotiation techniques.
