Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Equipment Service Engineer to join our technical services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Key Responsibilities: 

•  Installation: Install medical equipment at healthcare facilities, ensuring all devices are set up correctly and meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. 

•  Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities. 

•  Repairs: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in medical equipment, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and appropriate testing tools. 

•  Calibration: Calibrate medical devices to ensure accuracy and reliability in their operation. 

•  Technical Support: Provide technical support to healthcare professionals and end-users, including training on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

•  Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and standards, including safety guidelines and manufacturer's protocols. 

•  Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including work orders, parts used, and equipment status reports. 

•  Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.

Working Conditions: 

•  This is a full-time position. 

•  The role requires frequent travel to various healthcare facilities for on-site service and support.

•  The position may involve working outside of regular business hours, including weekends and evenings, to respond to emergency repair requests.

•  The role may require lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment.

Job Requirement

Qualifications: 

 Education: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 

Experience:

Skills: 

• Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment and devices. 

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. 

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities. 

•  Good communication and customer service skills. 

•  Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

•  Experience with a wide range of medical devices, including imaging equipment, patient monitoring systems, and Endoscopy instruments. 

•  Knowledge of healthcare facility operations and requirements.
