Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors current inventory levels and processes purchase orders as required.

  • Conduct periodical inventory counts and maintain inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.

  • Perform quality checks on inventory in storage and discard items that do not meet company standards.

  • Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, or merchandise.

  • Process and document returns as required by following the established procedures.

  • Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs.

  • Compiling inventory balance, price, and cost reports every week.

  • Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock and preparing inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing items, if any.

  • Compute figures from production records, sales orders or purchase invoices to obtain up-to-date inventory level.

  • Able to use inventory software to keep track of orders, returns, and supply.

  • Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.

  • Assists warehouse manager in developing new ways to efficiently maintain inventory control;

  • Performs routine clerical and cashier duties, including handling cash and cash-related payments, data entry, and assisting customers.

  • Other tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Academic qualification

  • BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Management or related fields

Additional qualifications and skill

  • Excellent understanding of information systems technology.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Must have excellent arithmetic skills

  • Must be well organized and handle stressful situations.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Good understanding of sales and marketing strategies

  • Well-developed customer orientation and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.

Years of experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar position

Salary: As per the Company Scale
