JOB SUMMARY

• Regularly prepare costing reports & help management to analysis the selling prices 

• Responsible for setting up and maintenance of accurate process cost information

• Months to months cost analysis & highlight major variation / causes 

• Responsible for developing/maintaining an effective cost accounting system to reduce costs and improve overall profitability. 

• Process Cost accounting - responsible for the accurate reporting of Cost of Goods Manufactured and Sold

• Monthly reconciliation and updating of standard costs to actual costs.

• Actively participate in the annual budgeting process by providing updated cost information across different product lines.

• Prepare project costing in case of expansion 

• Help to forecast the material cost / production cost / product cost / Budget   

• Provide accurate and timely financial information including actual product costs and standard costs for new products.
  Analyze complex manufacturing processes in coordination with Plant managers to improve decision making. 

• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Costing or related field

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, Excel 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience to prepare product costing with all aspects like actual / standards / inflation 

• Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices

• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations

• Ability to develop costing templet 

• Present various costing analysis / Reports which helps management to take quick decisions 

• Knowledge of various costing techniques like ABC analysis / Cost Benefits analysis / Process Costing / Project Costing / Opportunity Cost / Marginal Costing
