Job Description
Job Function:
Responsible for all duties that are not directly related to instruction and student achievement including assisting the Head of School in managing school activities; supervising of administrative support personnel; ensuring administrative and finance efficiencies’, coordinating activities such as special events; transportation and building maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and evaluate all staff performance under his/her supervision mentioned above.
Ensure annual plans are written, implemented and evaluated.
Make a meaningful contribution to the school strategic plan.
Manage all school scheduling, special events, field trips, cafeteria, transportation, maintenance, playgrounds and cleaning.
Manage community use of school site.
Responsible for school safety plan: disaster preparation, fire drills, student, staff and public safety, and student health.
Maintain equipment, textbook and supply inventories.
Coordinate with the Head of School to maintain a positive, safe learning environment for students by enforcing the school discipline plan.
Responsible for school public relations and communications plan: promote the school and district through positive relations with community, businesses, parents and students.
Maintain regular attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Benefits
Up to 2 free child places at the school once one year of service has been completed.
Fuel allowance
Salary 100,000 – 120,000 (ETB Gross per month depending on experience)

Education and Experience:
Experience in public school or a business of similar size and complexity.
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
Master's Degree required with course work in Business Administration, Organizational Management, or related discipline desired.
