Job Description
Chemonics International seeks experienced professionals for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. GHSC-PSM in Ethiopia will serve as vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve the country’s management of health supply chain and pharmacy service activities, and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global and local health initiatives. The Finance Manager is responsible for implementing the financial management priorities of the GHSC-PSM project in Ethiopia. She/he will support the Deputy Country Director-Operations (DCDOperations) to provide oversight of the Finance System and ensure compliance with Chemonics International guidelines. In addition, GHSC-PSM Ethiopia is scheduled to end on November 28, 2024, and the Finance Manager will over the coordination of the financial close-out of GHSC-PSM Ethiopia project. The Finance Manager will report directly to GHSC-PSM Deputy Country DirectorOperations (DCD-Operations). Please see the criteria below and the SOW for details of information:
Level of Effort and Location
This long-term position will be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with intermittent travel throughout the program’s target regions as needed.
Supervision
The Finance Manager will report directly to GHSC-PSM Deputy Country Director-Operations

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce. Master’s degree in related field
preferred. A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) would be an added
advantage.
Minimum eight years of experience
Excellent organizational skills demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a
variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and meet competing deadlines with
attention to detail and quality of work.
Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and preparation of graphs, tables, charts
with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
Excellent ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English
Demonstrated ability to successfully participate on teams that respond to and meet the
challenges of working together in a fast-paced work setting with technical staff
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally
and linguistically diverse staff, clients, and consultants.
Must be willing to travel to the regions as required.
Strong knowledge and understanding of USAID regulations are strongly preferred.
