About The Company:

Decathlon is a French Company, started in 1976. It is a sportswear retailer. We started our office in Ethiopia 7 years ago. We source Ready Made Garments from different garment factories in Ethiopia and Export to Europe, Turkey & China.

You manage each supplier to develop and produce safe quality products, within short lead times. To reach your targets, you work in a network with manufacturing partners, other production leaders, method leaders, and product engineers. You also have full autonomy on your perimeter to manage your project and make decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• You evaluate and ensure the quality of your products during production

• You follow up on quality perimeter and final quality inspection

• You maintain regular meetings with the suppliers

• You enforce the Decathlon social charter and look after compliance topics

• You ensure that our environmental and toxicology rules are respected

• You share a continuous improvement mindset

• You Develop sustainable quality management systems in the suppliers

• You lead quality assessments & Compliance with the suppliers Who Are You?

• You are simple, hardworking, and ready to take on challenges

• You are ready to lead a supplier with dynamic quality and human projects

• You have good communication and management skills

• You are curious, sportive and customer-oriented

• You can work from a factory at least 4 days in a week

• You adhere to deadlines and prioritize your actions

• You are very good in English both speaking & writing

Minimum Experience :

•  2 Years In the Quality Field of Garment Factory

Maximum Experience :

•  5 Years In the Quality Field of Garment Factory

Candidate Education : 

• Graduate Minimum (Textile & Garment Engineering Is Preferable)
