Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Irrigation design engineer with a background in a critical role in designing and implementing efficient water distribution systems for our landscape projects. As we expand our services, we seek skilled irrigation engineers to collaborate on a project basis, ensuring our designs are water-efficient, sustainable, and compliant with local regulations. Your expertise will help maintain healthy and sustainable outdoor spaces while minimizing water use and ensuring regulatory compliance.

        Key Responsibilities:

• Irrigation System Design: Design irrigation systems tailored to the specific needs of each landscape project, ensuring efficient water use and distribution.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed irrigation plans, specifications, and calculations that meet city or country codes and regulations.

• Sustainable Practices: Incorporate sustainable irrigation technologies and practices, such as drip irrigation, smart controllers, and rainwater harvesting, into landscape designs.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all irrigation designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including water use restrictions and environmental guidelines.

• Design Collaboration: Work closely with landscape architects and other engineers to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into overall landscape designs.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits and inspections during installation to ensure proper implementation and functionality of irrigation systems.

• Problem Solving: Identify and address potential irrigation challenges during the design and construction phases, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions.

• System Optimization: Monitor and adjust irrigation systems post-installation to adapt to changing environmental conditions and ensure optimal performance.

• Water Management: Develop and implement water management strategies to reduce waste and promote efficient water use in all projects.

 Location: South Sudan, Juba 

Job Requirement

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Irrigation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field

• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of cities or authority.

• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in irrigation engineering, with a focus on landscape projects and water-efficient systems, constructing and commissioning similar systems.

• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of water regulations, sustainability practices, and advanced irrigation technologies.

• Skills: Proficiency in irrigation design software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Availability: Flexibility to work on a project basis, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
