Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Executive Expat - Market Expansion to lead GeezJobs' operations and expansion efforts in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. This role will be responsible for developing and executing market expansion strategies, establishing strong partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence across all three countries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive leadership, international business development, and a deep understanding of East African markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of market expansion initiatives in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, aligned with GeezJobs' growth objectives.

  • Drive business development activities to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, expand client base, and increase revenue streams.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, industry associations, and potential clients to support market entry and operational success.

  • Drive business development activities to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, expand client base, and increase revenue streams.

  • Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies tailored to each market, leveraging local insights and industry trends.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments to anticipate challenges and opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and business practices in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, managing legal and operational risks effectively.

  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the local teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on market performance, operational metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience in international business expansion, preferably within East Africa or similar emerging markets.

  • Strong understanding of East African business cultures, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.

  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, establishing partnerships, and achieving revenue targets in international markets.
