Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, managing accounts, and supporting audit and tax processes for the organization. The Senior Accountant reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare code, and post invoices and analyze company sales transaction

  • Follow up the deposit of all cash/cheque collection into the respective bank account

  • Follow up staff debtor account and report the outstanding balance on a monthly basis

  • Ensure the Financial recording (posting) is based on proper source document

  • Prepare monthly liability report

  • Upload and track all relevant financial documents to the company's document management system

  • Review and process the daily check report, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate

  • Receive and verify supporting documentation for payment requests

  • Prepare all weekly payments on time, calculating and deducting appropriate withholding taxes

  • Follow up on the timely settlement of goods and service purchases

  • Assist external auditors and tax auditors during the audit process

  • Report daily bank balance reports by email

  • Follow up and report daily exchange rate

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

  • 3+ years of accounting experience.

  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.

  • Strong financial analysis skills.

  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

  • Ability to train and manage staff.

  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements

  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
