We are seeking a Senior Engineer with extensive experience who has worked on water supply projects to join our team. Your role as a Senior Engineer will be crucial in supporting the development, operation, and management of the water system by offering engineering expertise and project management support. This position might include overseeing large-scale, intricate, and unique water infrastructure projects.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of the water system layout and operations.

• Supports planning and review of expansion through land development projects.

• Coordinates with other departments and provides engineering expertise.

• Supports budgeting and implementation of the CIP program.

• Able to work with GIS datasets and GIS processing to support hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.

• determines the right supplies and machinery, such as turbines, pumps, pipes, and conduits, for various facilities and projects.

• Collaborate and closely work with project consultants and contracts.

• Review construction plans for compliance with standards and project goals.

• Prepares studies and reports related to water as directed.

• Communicates with the public to address water service and development inquiries

• Working along with contractors, supervising technical engineers, and mentoring junior staff.

Job Requirements

Academic qualification

• BSc. Degree in Hydraulics or Water resource engineering

• Professional license/certification is a requirement.

• Proved Knowledge of Hydraulic Modelling Software, EPANET, Water Gems, GIS, and Civil 3D.

Work Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Hydraulic design and construction supervision in water supply projects

Additional Required Skills:

• Able to communicate verbally and in written format to all organizational levels.

• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Physically able to conduct field studies.
