Job Description

The general aim of the position

 To oversee all non-academic operations, including Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, Admissions, and Office Manager

 To plan and implement strategic directions to achieve the business goal of the institution.

 To ensure the sustainable growth and success of the institution.

Priority Tasks & Responsibilities

 Lead the Academy’s business functions, such as Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, Admissions, and Office Manager.

 Develop and implement strategic business plans that aligns with the school's missions and goals.

 Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes, ensuring financial sustainability.

 Ensure compliance with local regulations and contractual obligations, maintaining relationships with relevant bodies.

 Collaborate with the Dean of School to ensure harmonious integration of the academic and business aspects of the school.

 Advise and support the Board of Directors on all business-related matters.

 Work closely with the Head of School/General Manager.

Job Requirements

1) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields: Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.

2) At least 10 years of leadership experience, preferably within an educational or non-profit setting.

3) Strong financial acumen and experience in operations management.

4) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

5) Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, parents, students, and community members.

6) Familiarity with Ethiopian regulatory bodies and compliance requirements is a plus.

7) High level of integrity and professionalism.
