Job Description
• Conduct supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors.
• Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, negotiating terms, and tracking deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal departments to determine their procurement needs and requirements.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other relevant criteria.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a procurement officer or in a similar procurement role, with a minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations, policies, and best practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
