Job Responsibility: 

1. Sampling activity of Raw Materials and Packing Materials

2. To check the Artwork, Labels, shipper, PET Bottle and Glass bottle analysis.

3. Packing Material – Artwork checking, carton, and Shipper etc

4. Perform wet and instrumental analysis using UV, GC, Melting point device, Viscometer, Conductometer, Microprocessor, pH meter, Balance, muffle furnaces, ovens, Polarimeter, Centrifuge, Sieve analyzer of raw materials.

5. Perform physical testing and chemical analysis of pharmaceutical packaging material.

6. Sampling of raw and packaging material according to approved SOPs from warehouse.

7. Prepare and standardizes working standards, volumetric solutions, reagents and indicators.

8. Calibrate instruments according to work instructions to ensure compliance to standards.

9. Follows the approved controlled standard operating procedures, raw materials and packaging material specifications and test methods during analysis.

10. Follows the instructions of environmental, Health and Safety.

11. Maintain the quality control approved control records related to the daily work.

12. Issues GRN & Raw Data sheet and compile the report.

13. Report and participate in investigation of any OOS case or OOT.

14. Volumetric solutions and Reagent Preparation.

15. Chemicals arrangement as per the product availability.

16. Glassware handling & monitoring as per the Test requirement.

17. Handling of Bursting strength apparatus, Scuff Resistance tester. 

18. Analyst/Designee QC shall write the total quantity sampled by referring the observation on pack (Receipt & storage of Raw materials & Packaging Materials).

19. Analyst/Designee QC shall fill the accepted /rejected quantity column in GRN.

20. Analyst/Designee QC shall print Approved label / Rejected label / Rejection note wherever applicable.

21. Analyst shall update the results and prepare PM COA & RM COA accordingly.

22. Analyst shall affix the manual status approved/ Rejected labels for all the containers on the under-quarantine labels duly authorized by other chemist.

23. In case of partial rejection, analyst shall initiate manual rejection note.

24. Follows SOPs, current good manufacturing practices, company policies, health, safety and environment procedures, human resources policies, etc. and stays updated as and when revised.

Qualification:

1. Bachelor of Science/ Biotechnology with 2 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceuticals manufacturing industry.

2. In and out knowledge about operation of the analytical instruments in a Pharma company.

3. Knowledge of documentation

4. Fluent in English reading, writing, speaking, interpreting.

5. Able to work in any shift as per company requirements.

6. Desirable: Sense of urgency, work efficiently in fast paced environment with less supervision, under pressure. Flexible to adapt newer responsibilities, positive mindset.

Working in the Manufacturing sector is advantageous.
