About Company

DROGA PHARMA PLC is an import, distributor and commission agent for pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in the territory of Ethiopia. 

Our Company  established in April 2015 with two staff. Currently we have a total of 400+ Employee with different professional background and work Experience. And now Droga Pharma PLC as a business unit,establishing chain of pharmacies all over Ethiopia.

Role & Responsibilities

Accounting(Finance) 

  •  Assist with Accounting System development

  • Provide an accounting support to operational managers by providing analysis and reports as require

  • Compile, consolidate and conduct basic analysis of accounting and finance information

  • Examine a variety of financial statements and transactions for completeness, internal accuracy and conformance with accounting standards

  • Make accounting entries through appropriate journals

  • Participate in accounting projects as an active team member

  • To efficiently prepare accurate accounting information for clients in compliance with regulations & in accordance with agreed SLAs (with supervision)

  • Experience of the various accounting standards including IFRS, 

  • Support fixed income portfolio accounting.

Logistics & Supply Chain(Procurement & Documentation Officer )

    Documentation Officer 

  • Oversee the storage and retrieval of documents

  • Collect and prepare supporting documentation

  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Enter and update information in our system

  • Reach out to external resources to verify information as needed

  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

 Procurement Officer 

  • Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.

  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.

  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

1. Finance 

  • Bachelor Degrees Accounting & Finance 

  • 0 Years work experience

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Customer Focus

  • Negotiating

  • Ability to handle complex issues, grasp complex information and communicate simply and sensitively. 

  • Excellent written and spoken Amharic and English. Ability to speak an indigenous language is a plus.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

2. Documentation Officer 

  • Bachelor Degree in  Logistics & Supply Chain & Economics  

  • Work Experience :- 0-1 years relevant work experience

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Strong networking & influencing skills

  • Customer Focus

  • Negotiating

  • Ability to handle complex issues, grasp complex information and communicate simply and sensitively. 

  • Excellent written and spoken Amharic and English. Ability to speak an indigenous language is a plus.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

3.   Procurement Officer

  • Bachelor Degree in  Logistics & Supply Chain 

  • Work Experience :- 0- year relevant work experience

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
