Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and researching potential partnership opportunities.

  • Building relationships with potential partners, including businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, etc. 

  • Negotiating partnership agreements and contracts. 

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with partnership goals and objectives. 

  • Coordinating joint initiatives, campaigns, or projects with partners. 

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of partnerships.

  • Managing communication and maintaining regular contact with partners. 

  • Identifying and addressing any issues or conflicts that may arise during the partnership.

  • Seeking new partnership opportunities to expand and diversify the organization's network

  • Identifying potential partners and developing a network of contacts.

  • Building and managing relationships with existing partners.

  • Conducting research to identify new partnership opportunities.

  • Negotiating and finalizing partnership agreements and contracts.

  • Handling communication and correspondence with partners. 

  • Organizing and attending meetings, events, or conferences related to partnerships.

  • Coordinate with partners in the area of WASH to ensure effective resource mobilization of WASH resources as well as engage in activities intended to improve the visibility of the organization in the WASH service.

  • Coordinate with other project-based partners by safeguarding the benefit of the institution and ensuring the alignment of the project with the institution's core business.

  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/TRAINING 

  • MB/MBA/BA degree in Project Management, Business management, Human Resource Management, Economics, Marketing Management and Finance or related fields. 

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 3/4 years of relevant experience, preferably in MFI.

 TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS

  • Proficiency in English language;

  • Good knowledge of participatory methodologies and skills in communications;

  • Computer literacy and demonstrated report writing skills;

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to quickly synthesize complex ideas, align them with business priorities, and devise actionable strategies to accomplish goals
